We talk a lot about making clothing and people ask us about socks. Sure, you can sew a sock out of fabric, but for true satisfaction knit socks are the way to go! Knitting Basics is the first step towards making your own socks, sweaters, mittens and arm warmers. Through mastering casting on, a few basic stitches and getting a beginning project underway you are developing the foundation necessary to take it to the next level.

This is an ongoing project class offered regularly to aid Seamsters as they learn by working on their own projects. Sign up for one or three sessions and bring us your questions in progress!
