If you know how to use a sewing machine and you have patience, You *CAN* learn how to make a corset! Get great step-by-step instructions and learn hands on corset tailoring skills that will last you a lifetime!
Volunteer opportunities for seamsters allow up to a 50% discount on classes. Volunteer duties are varied depending on skills and can range anywhere from prepping fabric samples for classes, assisting in open studio time, making copies or monitoring reception. Please contact us at volunteering@pdxseamsters.com for more information on getting involved.
We have expanded our studio work space and increased our stable of sewing machines. We are building a third cork-top 4x8 cutting table and have setup a sewing machine maintenance table to help keep your machines stitching smoothly.
All this adds up to a more expansive, functional, and social sewing experience. We also have a new sewing class offering: Make your own Sewing Kit
